Norsk Offshore Flanges

Pipe flanges and specialist materials for offshore, oil & gas, petrochemical, marine, power generation and industrial applications worldwide.

Norsk Offshore provides a comprehensive range of industrial pipe flanges for process piping, pipelines, utilities and mechanical systems operating in demanding environments.

Our portfolio covers standard and specialist configurations in carbon steel, low-temperature carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, duplex, super duplex and other corrosion-resistant materials.

Products can be sourced to recognised international standards in a broad range of nominal sizes, pressure classes and facing arrangements. We assist with individual replacement items as well as complete piping packages for new projects, maintenance programmes, plant shutdowns and system modifications.

Certification, inspection and testing, protective treatment, export packing and international logistics can also be coordinated where required.

Flange Types

Flanges provide removable connections between pipework, valves, pumps, pressure equipment and other piping components, allowing systems to be assembled, inspected and maintained efficiently.

Our range includes:

  • Weld Neck Flanges
  • Slip-On Flanges
  • Socket Weld Flanges
  • Threaded Flanges
  • Blind Flanges
  • Lap Joint Flanges
  • Long Weld Neck Flanges
  • Orifice Flanges
  • Plate Flanges
  • Loose Flanges
  • Spectacle Blinds
  • Spades & Spacers

Selection is based on the piping design, service conditions, pressure and temperature, material compatibility, connection method and governing standard.

Flange Materials & Grades

Note: Materials and grades shown are representative of commonly specified flange materials. Final material specification, grade, dimensional standard, pressure class, facing and certification requirements are confirmed against the customer's RFQ, piping specification and service conditions.

Flange Standards, Pressure Classes & Facings

Flanges can be supplied to recognised international standards in a range of sizes, pressure classes and facing configurations. Selection is determined by the piping specification, service conditions, flange type and material.

Technical Requirement Typical Options / Standards
ASME Pressure Classes Class 150, 300, 400, 600, 900, 1500 & 2500
European Pressure Ratings PN-rated flanges according to the applicable EN standard
Flange Facings Raised Face (RF), Flat Face (FF), Ring Type Joint (RTJ), Tongue & Groove, Male & Female
ASME B16.5 Pipe flanges and flanged fittings, NPS 1/2 through NPS 24; Class 2500 flanges through NPS 12
ASME B16.47 Large-diameter steel flanges, NPS 26 through NPS 60; Classes 75, 150, 300, 400, 600 & 900
ASME B16.36 Orifice flanges
Other Standards EN, DIN, API, JIS, BS and customer/project specifications
Dimensions Nominal size, flange dimensions, drilling and bolting according to the applicable standard and pressure class

Flange size, pressure class, facing, material grade and dimensional standard should be specified at RFQ stage. Where required, our team can assist with specification review and product identification.

Technical Procurement & Support Services

Technical Procurement & Project Support

Flange selection is normally defined by type, nominal size, material grade, pressure class, facing and dimensional standard. Accurate technical information at RFQ stage helps us identify the correct product and avoid unnecessary clarification during procurement.

Our team can assist with:

  • Standard & Specialist Flanges
  • Carbon & Low-Temperature Carbon Steel
  • Alloy & Stainless Steel
  • Duplex, Super Duplex & Specialist Alloys
  • Material Grade Identification
  • Specification & Cross-Reference Review
  • Project, Maintenance & Shutdown Procurement
  • Certification, Inspection & Testing Coordination
  • Export Packing & Worldwide Logistics
  • Urgent Replacement Requirements

For larger piping packages, flanges can be coordinated with pipes, tubes, fittings, fasteners and valves, allowing customers to consolidate related materials within a single procurement package.

Documentation & Certification

Documentation can be provided according to the manufacturer, material specification and project requirements.

This may include material test certificates, traceability records, inspection reports, dimensional documentation and applicable testing records.

Any requirements for third-party inspection, specific certification or project documentation should be advised at RFQ stage so they can be incorporated into the quotation.
